At this FREE event, attendees can participate in an interactive chocolate art exhibit by the ARTree, see local artist Lorelle Miller paint with chocolate, and watch as a beautiful chocolate sculpture takes shape at the hands of Chef Robin Robins.

Art SLAM will also feature live cooking demonstrations and the opportunity to sample dishes from local eateries, including Cocoa Crusted Pork Shoulder from Chef Judy Gilbert of Culinary Wonders, Traditional Mole Poblano from Chef Raul Bojorquez of El Trocadero, and a truffle-making demonstration from Clarice’s Cake and Candy Supply. Main Street storefronts will offer chocolate pairings, including Chocolate Mousse Sliders at Newhall Refinery, Muscat and Truffle Tastings at Pulchella Winery, and Port and Chocolate Tastings at the Repertory East Playhouse.

Thursdays @ Newhall continues on September 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with JAM Sessions. The FREE interactive event will bring the energy of Rio de Janeiro to Main Street with a Samba Dance Party and performances by Viver Brasil Dance Company.
