New Art Exhibit Features Art of Joseph Jasik-Drdol

Post Date:10/23/2015 12:30 PM

The City of Santa Clarita will host a reception for a new art installment featuring the photographic art of Joseph Jasik-Drdol from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in the Community Room at the Old Town Newhall Library, located at 24500 Main Street.

Jasik-Drdol’s photographic art has been displayed in several European cities, including a full solo exhibit in Banska Bystrica, an exhibit in Kosice and a canvas and aluminum exhibit in Bratislava.

“My art represents my own vision of abstract images in photography. I am inspired by the reflection of objects in other objects. My art is created based on what I see, which are colors, forms and shapes,” said Jasik-Drdol.

Jasik-Drdol has owned and operated the family-owned German Autohaus in Old Town Newhall for 32 years and has been a long time member of the Old Town Newhall Association.

The free public reception for the exhibit will allow guests to greet the artist and enjoy light appetizers and entertainment as they explore the exhibit.
