At the Event¡
- Choose either a three-mile or one-mile walk route
- Enjoy the fun, festivities, and free health information
- Wear a blue ¡°hero¡± hat if you have arthritis
- Raise $100 or more and receive a T-shirt
- Children walking or in strollers are welcome; dogs on leashes are welcome
We welcome all Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley residents and business colleagues. Community and business leaders, local dignitaries and political leaders will be walking.
¡°Let¡¯s move together¡¡± More than 66 million Americans, one in five adults, suffer daily from some form of arthritis and chronic joint pain. There are about half a million people in the Valley Region alone, who suffer from Arthritis. The Arthritis Walk is the Arthritis Foundation¡¯s signature event that takes place in communities nationwide to raise funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation¡¯s number one cause of disability.
