The Arts & Events Office was formed as a part of the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department to bring together the Cultural Affairs, Special Events, and Regional Events staff of the Department. This structure was envisioned as a way to expand arts programming and provide more wonderful community events, without increasing the current resources.

The Arts & Events Office mission is to promote, support, and develop arts programming and regional and community events for the benefit of local citizens, while utilizing these programs and events to encourage economic development and tourism to the Santa Clarita Valley.
