4th of July Fireworks Celebration
Westfield Valencia Town Center

Bring the whole family and all your friends to the Westfield Valencia
Town Center for an exciting Fireworks display!  Please follow these
simple instructions to maximize your July 4 Fireworks Celebration.

Fireworks Display:
Saturday, July 4, 2008 at 9:15 p.m.

Viewing Areas:
Just about anywhere at the Westfield Valencia Town Center. We suggest the
following locations that will have portable restrooms and trash containers.

Parking Area 6K - 6G Parking Area 6C, 7A – 7E Parking Area 10K – 10M Parking Area 2D – 2H Parking Area 10C – 10G

Listen to the Fireworks Sound Track:
Bring a portable radio or listen from your car radio to the
fireworks soundtrack broadcast live on KHTS-AM-1220 AM.

Non-viewing Areas:
Please stay out of the FIREWORKS FALL ZONE which will be set-up around the
launch site.  The area to avoid is McBean Parkway from the Mall Entrance to Town
Center Drive, parts of Town Center Drive and the area around the Market Garage.

Keep Santa Clarita Beautiful:
Please keep your viewing location clean. 

Directions: 
To avoid road closures enter the Westfield Valencia Town Center from
Magic Mountain Parkway, Valencia Blvd., and Citrus Ave. entrances.

Road Closure:
McBean Parkway between Valencia Blvd. and Magic Mountain
Parkway will be closed to traffic from 8:30 p.m. - 10:15 p.m.

Special Viewing:
The Greens at Valencia is featuring an old fashioned 4th of July BBQ and a live band.  Bring
your blanket for prime viewing from the putting course.  Call for Reservations!  The Greens will
         be open all day but access will be closed from 8:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
      between Valencia Boulevard and Magic Mountain Parkway.  Please plan
accordingly.  Call 661-222-2900 for information.
 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Do you want to get the best seat in the house for this year’s Fireworks show?
As a volunteer you have the opportunity to help out at this exciting event and work
in a great location for viewing the fireworks show!  Volunteers must be 18 years
old or older and will have the opportunity to work enforcing the protective area
around the fireworks display known as the “Fall Zone” or be selected as part of the
crew that monitors the fireworks as part of the “Fire Prevention Team.”  For more
