To avoid steep State fines or a loss of local control, the Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District is conducting a local planning process to determine the most affordable way to upgrade the Valley's sewage treatment facilities to meet the State’s strict chloride (salt) limits.  The SCV Sanitation District wants as much community input as possible and has posted important information on their website, including the time and location of public hearings workshops.
