Our staff is chosen for their dedication to meeting the developmental and emotional needs of children. Primetime Preschool upholds the highest standards for staff selection and has a centralized process that entails an interview, negative TB results, and a criminal background screening. Each member of our staff meets the City of Santa Clarita’s qualifications, completes a full orientation and comprehensive training, and is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and First Aid. Teachers are trained in the field of Early Childhood Education. As an early childhood education provider, we strive for the best level of customer service, experience, and commitment to our children and their families.

Our Team!

 Miss Heather

Miss Heather
(Valencia Meadows Park 4’s)

Miss Heather was inspired by her two daughters to go into the field of Early Childhood Education and holds an Early Childhood Associates Degree from College of the Canyons. She loves the honesty, excitement and passion young children bring to learning and believes it is rewarding to grow along with them. Her goal is to provide children with a loving environment that allows them to explore and learn through hands-on experience. She has worked at the Child Development Center at College of the Canyons and has taught My Buddy and Me, Little Folks Camp, and Primetime Preschool with the City of Santa Clarita for several years now.

 Miss Jennifer

She has been married for 20 years and has a 18-year-old daughter and a 16-year-old son. Her goal is to not only provide a loving environment, but also enrich their lives with learning while having fun. The growth children make in their preschool years is amazing and rewarding and she truly loves being a part of it!

Miss Jennifer
(Newhall Park 3's & 4’s)

Miss Jennifer has been teaching preschool for over twenty years. She has her California Child Development Permit, Infant/Toddler certificate and 33 Early Childhood Education units and is continuing her education. She understands that children learn by doing, touching, experimenting and communicating. Children are natural researchers and proving "hands-on" activities develops life long learners. She recently got married and has two grown children. She is new to the area and is having fun finding new places to explore.

Miss Kristen

Miss Kristen
(Valencia Glen Park 3’s)

Miss Kristen is a fifteen year resident of Santa Clarita and has almost twenty years’ experience working with children and youth, including operating her own in-home preschool program. She has a degree from Utah Valley University in Early Childhood Education. She has been married for 21 years and has four children, all of whom are graduates of Primetime Preschool! Miss Kristen believes that the preschool years are an invaluable time to introduce, strengthen, and expand fundamental knowledge and skills. She loves the opportunity to teach children as they start on their educational journey and strives to give them a positive and loving beginning.

  Miss Kristin
(North Oaks Park 3’s & 4’s)

Miss Kristin found her passion for teaching as an undergraduate fellow in the preschool classroom, while earning two Bachelors in Arts from Whittier College. For nine years, she has loved being able to help tend an early love of learning for preschool-age children. She holds a California Permit for Associate Teaching.  She particularly enjoys the messy side of learning and encouraging investigation and exploration. She believes watching the children learn to love learning, as they begin their educational endeavor, is the most fulfilling part of teaching the young minds at Primetime Preschool.

 Miss Lorrie

Miss Lorrie
(Canyon Country Park 3’s)

Miss Lorrie began her career over twenty years ago as a home daycare provider and teaching at various schools in the Santa Clarita Valley. She has been with the City of Santa Clarita for 11 years teaching My Buddy and Me, Terrific Tots, Wee Folks Camp and Primetime Preschool. Miss Lorrie is trained in the field of Early Childhood Education with 24 ECE units completed. She believes young children learn through discovery, self-expression, and positive reinforcement. When Miss Lorrie is not teaching, she is volunteering in the community and enjoying time with her daughter who was a past Primetime Preschool student.
