February 27th, 2007 – The City presents Darren Hernandez, Gina Schuchard, and the staff of the finance division with a Certificate of Achievement plaque for “Excellence in Financial Reporting”. The City was recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for the City’s comprehensive annual financial report.

February 27th, 2007 - The City presents the American Public Works Association award to the Traffic and Transport Planning Division. The High Desert Branch of the American Public Works Association awarded the City of Santa Clarita for the “Best Use of Technology” for the City’s outstanding efforts in renovating and upgrading the Traffic Operations Center.”
