Details:	Who says you cannot find anyone to talk about politics after you leave the classroom? This happens every second Wednesday of the month at L.B. Mulligans Restaurant in Valencia running through the 2008 Federal Election Day. Come to the air-conditioned "Backroom", draw an informal, inclusive progressive social group into a spirited conversation hosted by Michael Cruz and Bill Bailey. Meet other progressive-thinking SCV Valleyites in a relaxed setting. Share ideas on the 2008 state, federal and international political landscape. No agendas, no rules, and no dues. Share your appetizers or order your meal from the well-appointed meal selection. You do not need to be a policy expert and this is not a book club. Just come, learn or educate your peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it's not taboo to talk about: Guiliani's 30-second life mistakes, Obama's promises of hope, Edward's empathy for the poor, Biden's biting comments on Bush's foreign policy, Romney's sons soldiering his election campaign, achieving national healthcare, ethics for Santa Clarita's City Council, the school board race, immigration policies, Mexican trucks approved to enter the US, etc. Bring a copy of that interesting e-blast, news article, magazine, or blog. No reservations required. No parking fees. You do not even have to know politics but it will help. Invite a couple friends to come with you. Mulligan's is a democratic place, you talk to strangers, you share booths, and you feel the bond of common ground. Bring discourse to your local space and find yoursled reviewing democracy. All political affiliations welcomed especially young people, independents, democrats, progressives, political scientists, candidates, election officials, history, law, criminal science majors and educators.
