Residential- Bulky Items & Electronic Waste
Please call the City's Residential Franchised Hauler, Waste Management by calling (661) 259-2398 to schedule a free bulky item collection. City residents receive four free bulky item collections per year. Up to three items will be collected per pick-up including electronic Waste.
To dispose of electronic equipment, you have the following options:
- Schedule a free bulky item pick up through Waste Management. To do so, please call (661) 259-2398. City residents are entitled to four free bulky item pick ups per year, with up to three items per pickup, which may include electronic waste.
- Drop your electronic waste off at Blue Barrel/Waste Management's yard located at 25772 Springbrook Road, Santa Clarita, CA 91350. Their yard is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

- Electronic waste may be disposed of at a collection center in Sun Valley or Antelope Valley. Their information is as follows:

EPA’s E-Waste Recycling Program
- Plug-In To eCycling is a partnership between the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and consumer electronics manufacturers, retailers, and service providers that offers you more opportunities to donate or recycle - to "eCycle" - your used electronics.

- Makes it easier for you to donate or safely recycle old electronics, including TVs, computers, and cell phones.
- Works with communities, electronics manufacturers, and retailers to promote shared responsibility for safe electronics recycling.

HP Recycling Program
- HP has recycling programs for printer supplies and computer hardware. For more information go to the Product Recycling section.
RadioShack Trade-In Program
- You can visit the RadioShack Trade-In Program site to ascertain your product’s trade-in value. If the value is acceptable, customers can mail their electronics (using prepaid shipping labels provided by RadioShack) and will receive a gift card within 10 to 14 days.
