Captain Planet
Captain Planet will fund environmental projects that promote education and involvement from elementary through high school students. In order to be considered for funding, proposals must:
- Promote understanding of environmental issues
- Focus on hands-on involvement
- Involve children and young adults 6-18 (elementary through high school)
- Promote interaction and cooperation within the group
- Help young people develop planning and problem solving skills
- Include adult supervision
- Commit to follow-up communication with the Foundation (specific requirements are explained once the grant has been awarded)

Beverage Container Recycling - Grants
The Division of Recycling (DOR) administers funding programs to assist organizations with establishing convenient beverage container recycling and litter abatement projects, and to encourage market development and expansion activities for beverage container materials. Funds are available through the following grants.

Coca Cola Bin Grant
- The Coca-Cola/NRC Recycling Bin Grant Program
Need beverage container recycling bins for your local park, school, office or special event? The Coca-Cola/NRC Recycling Bin Grant Program supports local community recycling programs by providing selected grant recipients with containers for the collection of beverage container recyclables in public settings. Grant recipients will receive actual recycling bins instead of funding.

Environmental Education Grants
- The Grants Program sponsored by EPA's Environmental Education Division (EED), Office of Children's Health Protection and Environmental Education, supports environmental education projects that enhance the public's awareness, knowledge, and skills to help people make informed decisions that affect environmental quality.
