The Santa Clarita City Council will host the 20th anniversary, State of the City Luncheon on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Valencia Hyatt, grand ballroom.
The luncheon cost is $30 per person and this year, guests will receive a full color, bound, commemorative history book chronicling the City’s 20 years. The event is open to the public; however reservations are required and can be obtained by calling the City at (661) 255-4939.
The State of the City Luncheon is an annual event, offering residents, business and community leaders an opportunity to hear about what types of programs and projects the City is currently working on.
This year’s event theme is: “The 20 year Story,” and will include a recap of major accomplishments achieved over the last two decades, as well as a peek into what plans are in play for the next few years.
“The State of the City Luncheon is a great opportunity for the community to learn about what the city has accomplished, especially at this 20 year milestone, and what is being planned for our community over the next several years,” commented Mayor Marsha McLean.
