The recent July 15th Planning Commission Study Session will air on channel 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd. In additon, at the same time the Study Session will air on the City's website at santa-clarita.com/video. At the Study Session, City Staff presented the Draft Land Use Element from the Joint Valleywide General Plan, One Valley One Vision (OVOV).
The areas that were covered in the Draft Land Use Element include zoning, urban form, regional growth, community design and schools. The One Valley One Vision planning sessions are dedicated to continuing public participation and leading discussions concerning the many drafted elements of the One Valley One Vision plans.
There were over 50 attendees at the recent OVOV Study Sesssion. Included among the many speakers at the study session were numerous City residents.
The Draft Land Use Element can be found online on the City’s website at www.santa-clarita.com/vgp. County staff members from the OVOV team along with project consultants will be in attendance.
