The City of Santa Clarita invites community members 21 years of age and older to sign up for an upcoming Danish Days Festival/ Wine Tasting/ Chumash Casino excursion. The trip, held Saturday, September 19, will transport community members to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley to enjoy the Danish Days Festival in Solvang, wine tasting at a local vineyard and a visit to the Chumash Casino.
Guests will take part in the Danish Days Festival where they will sample authentic Dutch goods and services, watch roving folk dancers, village singers and ‘cloggers,’ as well as shopping in the numerous specialty boutiques that line the charming streets of Solvang.
Following the Festival, guests will be driven to the Gainey Vineyard for wine tasting at one of the Santa Ynez Valley’s premiere vineyards. Following the tasting, the excursion will move on to the Chumash Casino for even more entertainment.

The City’s Danish Days Festival/ Wine Tasting/ Chumash Casino excursion is $40 per person for City residents, $55 per person for non residents, and $45 per person for non-resident seniors.
The last day to register is Friday, September 11 at 5 p.m. Registration may be completed at santa-clarita.com or the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway.
All guests must arrive at City Hall’s first floor Council Chambers by 7 a.m. for departure via bus. The excursion will return to City Hall around 7 p.m. Participants will be required to show identification to verify age prior to boarding the bus.
