Aquatics Lessons Parent/Child Swim Lessons Parent/Child Class
The parent or other adult will receive instruction
and guided demonstration in ways to help their child become
comfortable in
the water. Safety and relaxation techniques are emphasized.
Babies must wear swim diapers. For children
6 months up to 3 years of age - must be accompanied in
the water by an adult.

Progressive Swim Lessons
Level 1
Introduction to Water Skills will help
children feel more comfortable and safe in the water. Designed
for the child who has never had water experience, or has
a fear of the water. Child must be three years
old by the first day of class to enroll.

Fundamental Aquatic Skills marks
the start of basic swimming skills. Designed for the child
who has no fear of the water, but cannot yet swim independently.
Child must be three years old by the first day of
class to enroll.

Level 3
Stroke Development marks
the start of coordinating arms and legs in strokes, and
of swimming distances of up to 15 yards, along with preliminary
diving skills. Child must be four years old, comfortable
in deep water, and be able to swim five yards unassisted
by the first day of class to enroll.

Level 4
Stroke Improvement develops
child’s confidence in their skills. More strokes
are introduced with distance of swims increased up to 25
yards. Child must be five years old and able to
swim 15 yards unassisted by the first
day of class to enroll.

Competitive
Stroke Instruction For
ages 6 to 17, this workout-type class will help students
stay in swimming shape as well as improving abilities
in all strokes, starts, turns and finishes. Student
should have Level 4 abilities, or above, to enroll.

Youth Aquatic Programs
Competitive Stroke Instruction
For ages 6 to 17, this workout-type class will help students stay
in swimming shape as well as improving abilities in all strokes,
starts, turns and finishes. Each 4-week program provides an ideal way
to stay in shape. Participants should be comfortable in
deep water and capable of swimming 25 yards comfortably in order to
enroll in this class.

Youth Water Sports Camp (Fall Break)
This one week camp will introduce a variety of water sports including
Springboard Diving, Synchronized Swimming, Competitive
Swim Team, Water Polo, Innertube Polo, Snorkeling, and Kayaking
activities. Don’t miss this opportunity to familiarize your child to a
water sport that could become a lifetime skill! Participants should
possess Level III completion skills and must be comfortable in deep
water.

Beginning Diving
This course teaches correct approaches and entries, as well as dives in the straight, pike, and tuck positions. Students need to be comfortable in deep water and have Level 3 completion skills, or higher, to enroll.

Adult Aquatics Programs

Adult Swim Class
This swim class is designed for adults and teens who
want to either learn or improve swimming skills in a private setting under the
guidance of a trained instructor. This drop-in class allows you to work
on personal goals and progress at your own rate.

Water Exercise
“Aquacize”
This fat-burning fitness workout incorporates muscular, cardiovascular,
and aerobic conditioning. Exercise includes some rhythmic
activities, muscle strengthening, and toning while having fun too!
“Zero Impact”
“A stress free environment,” this lunch time deep-water exercise class
strengthens and builds all-over muscle tone, all without impact to
the joints. Belts will be provided or you may bring your own. Participants
must be comfortable in, and able to swim in deep water.
“Total Aquarience”
This total aqua experience is an all around exercise class encompassing
shallow and deep water exercises. This class provides
strength and muscle toning, endurance building promoting greater
