The City of Santa Clarita offers a variety of Child Development classes to assist parents in the socialization and development of children.

My Buddy & Me

This exciting parent participation class will offer you and your 2-3 year old child quality play time together. Classes include free play, stories, crafts, finger play, songs, and motor development activities. Parents must bring a snack for their child each class. NOTE: Siblings will not be allowed in class. Classes may be 8, 10 or 14 week sessions. Instructors are ECE certified. Students registered for the current session have priority to register for upcoming sessions. SPACE IS LIMITED.

Terrific Tots

This program will provide your 3-4 year old child with the opportunity to develop social and classroom skills while making new friends. The curriculum involves play, arts, crafts, music, and lots of fun! Parents are required to participate four times per trimester (one day as an alternate). Parents must bring a snack for their child each week. NOTE: Children must be potty trained and no siblings will be allowed in class. Classes may be 8, 10 or 14 week sessions. Instructors are ECE certified. Students registered for the current session have priority to register for upcoming sessions. SPACE IS LIMITED.

Tots on the Go

This program promotes "education through fun" and will allow 3-5 year old children, along with their parents, to broaden their horizons with new experiences.  Each week, the class will visit a new location in and around Santa Clarita.  This class will provide your child with the opportunity to develop social and language skills while making new friends. Class will meet at the trip destination.  Parents are responsible for their own transportation to the field trip site. Classes are 8 week sessions. Siblings not enrolled in the class will not be allowed to attend the trips. SPACE IS LIMITED.

Primetime Preschool

This preschool program designed to help develop your 4-5 year old child through opportunities for social/emotional growth, cognitive learning experiences, and creative expression to prepare them for Kindergarten. Parents are required to participate four times per trimester (one day as an alternate). Instructors are ECE certified. Due to the school – like structure of the classes, students registered for the current session have priority to register for upcoming sessions. SPACE IS LIMITED.
