The purpose of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department
is to develop and implement quality, value-based programs that
encourage healthy lifestyles and celebrate the community's diversity;
to provide planning and administration for the acquisition, construction
and maintenance of parks, open space, and trails; and to provide
quality recreation, social, and cultural activities for youth,
adults, and families throughout the City of Santa Clarita.
