2009-10 BRIDGE REHABILITATION PROGRAM
Bouquet Canyon Road north of Alamogordo near Central Park
This ARRA project will address maintenance needs to several bridges citywide including Lost Canyon Road over the Sand Canyon Wash, Whites Canyon Road over the Santa Clara River, Sand Canyon Road over the Iron Canyon Creek, Placerita Canyon Road over the Sand Canyon Wash and Bouquet Canyon Road over the Bouquet Canyon Creek.
Current Status: Construction is ongoing.
Estimated Completion: 03/09/10

GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD BRIDGE OVER THE SANTA CLARA RIVER
The Cross Valley Connector (CVC) Golden Valley Road Bridge Over the Santa Clara River project will connect Newhall Ranch Road and Golden Valley Road. This is the last link to the CVC, which will provide a direct connection between Interstate 5 and State Route 14.
Current Status: Construction is onging.

CITY WIDE

2009-2010 CONCRETE REHIBILITATION PROJECT
Citywide
This project will add wheelchair ramps and replace existing damaged sidewalk. The Curb and Gutter Program will improve the drainage flow into local stormdrains, thereby improving stormwater quality and eliminating ponding water. The Access Ramp Program will serve our disabled community through the installation of new access ramps, while meeting the requirements outlined in Title 21 of the Americans Disabilities Act (ADA). In addition to these programs, repairs are required to the concrete pathways along the City's paseos.

NEWHALL

08/09 MEDIAN MODIFICATION PROGRAM
Newhall Avenue at Sierra Highway
This project will provide for the design and construction of the reconfiguration of the median on Newhall Avenue in the area of Sierra Highway to improve traffic circulation and safety at the intersection. This includes a landscaped raised median, restriping, signage, traffic signal modification and the installation of a "Welcome tio City of Santa Clarita" monument.
Current Status: Construction is ongoing.
Estimated Completion: 01/11/10
Traffic Impacts: None at this time.

Project includes grading, asphalt bikepath construction, concrete paving, CMB parking lot, planting and irrigation, play 'boulder' & site amenity installation.

SANTA CLARITA SPORTS COMPLEX PHASE IV

20870 CENTRE POINTE PKWY, SANTA CLARITA, CA 91350

Phase IV improvements made on 14 acres at the Sports Complex. New 40,000 sf. skate park, restroom building, turf field, dog park, 2 outdoor baskeball courts, sand volleyball court, walking path, and additional parking lots. Additional tiered seating and shade structures added at the Aquatics Center.

Current Status: Construction completed and open to the public. Currently in 90-day maintenance period.
