Non-Motorized Transportation Plan

On June 24, 2008, the City Council adopted the Non-Motorized Transportation Plan. The plan guides the future development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, paseos and trails within the City. This plan was developed with extensive input from the community and seeks to meet the community’s needs and desires for pleasant, enjoyable and safe places to bicycle and walk. The plan focuses on the City’s bicycle and pedestrian network, planning and policies related to bicycling and walking, non-motorized connections to transit, and safe routes to schools.
