Due to the Fourth of July parade and marathon, please expect delays on Routes 4 & 14 and 5 & 6 from 7a.m. to 1p.m. Bus stops servicing Lyons Ave. & Orchard Village Rd. and the SCV Senior Center have been closed. Route 4 & 14 and 5 & 6 passengers boarding at the Newhall Metrolink must use Route 1 & 2 and connect at the McBean Regional Transit Center. Temporary bus stops have been posted on Lyons Ave & Apple St. and Lyons Ave. & Peachland Ave.
All Transit services will be on a Sunday schedule to honor Independence Day July 4th. No Express, Station Link or Metrolink services. If you have any questions, please call (661) 294-1bus
FREEdom For Seniors Program - On June 24, 2008, the Santa Clarita City Council extended the FREEdom For Seniors Free Ride Program until January 2009. This program allows seniors over the age of 60 and disabled customers to ride the local fixed-route service free of charge with identification of eligibility. Effective June 1, 2008, route 8 will be deviating to the Nursing Rehab Care (NRC) Center in Sylmar, located on Astoria and Bromont Ave, at the following times: 8:35a.m., 11:05a.m., 12:44p.m., and 5:19p.m. The bus stop will be located at Astoria St. and Dronfield Ave. Please expect delays along route 8 trips during these times.
Beginning June 16, 2008, Route 635 will be operating on a traditional summer school day schedule. For additional information, please see "Route 635 Summer School Day Schedule" Rider Alerts.
MARKET & MAIN STREET STOP- The bus stop located at Market Street and Main Street will be out of service from 2p.m. to 8p.m. beginning every Thursday as of April 10th through October 30, 2008, until further notice due to the Farmer’s Market. Please board the bus at the Newhall Metrolink Station. All other stops along the route will be served.
OVERFLOW PARKING AT NEWHALL METROLINK STATION- Additional parking for the Newhall Metrolink Station is available at 6th & San Fernando (Main St). The lot is located one short block from the station.
