Celebrate preparedness at the 10th Santa Clarita Emergency Expo. The Expo provides residents the opportunity to visit with the various agencies that provide, and support emergency services in the community. In addition to the various displays and apparatus that are on display, there are also opportunities to learn about emergency preparedness and safety. This year a new competition called the "Bucket Brigade"will be available for participants 4 years and older. Also brought back popular demand is the "Santa Clarita Quake Walk," for chance to win more great prizes. For participants who know the "rules of the road," the Share the Road campaign will again have opportunities to win bicycle helmets. Finally in honor of the Expo's 10-year existence, the Castaic and Santa Clarita Lions Club will serve a pancake breakfast available (10:00 am to 12 noon) for a nominal fee. Don't miss out on the fun, and the learning experience, stop by the Saugus Speedway from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2002.
