AMERICAN RED CROSS DISASTER
RELIEF ASSISTANCE

When disaster strikes, the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles provides immediate emergency assistance for victims that include shelter, food, medical aid, and crisis counseling. This assistance is available for all disaster victims, whether the disaster is widespread, such as an earthquake, or in a single-family home. To receive help, call the Red Cross Santa Clarita Valley Service Center at (661) 259-1805. This assistance is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

When the emergency is over, families and individuals who have suffered insurmountable losses and require more than temporary aid may receive individualized assistance to help them resume normal living.

All Red Cross disaster assistance is provided for those affected by disaster as an outright gift and is made possible by voluntary contributions of time and financial support from the community. Red Cross never asks, requires, or expects payment for any disaster assistance. For further information about Red Cross disaster relief assistance, call the Red Cross Santa Clarita Valley Service Center or visit the chapter's web site at www.acrossla.org
