Press Credentials

Press can follow the link below to obtain credentials for the Tour of California. The link also contains information relating to the press areas. All press needs to check in at the Hyatt on Saturday February 24. Credentials will be given out at the press check-in center. Press is urged to check in early.

The media credential application for the 2007 Amgen Tour of California is  available online.

• Please note that a completed media credentials application does not guarantee access.  Confirmations will be issued via e-mail.
• Freelancers must submit an assignment letter issued by the news organization they are representing to gh.lacredentials@golinharris.com or by fax to (213) 895-4745.  Only freelancers with valid letters of assignment will be considered for media credentials.
• Credential applications will be reviewed and confirmations will be issued via e-mail at the beginning of February. Credentials will be distributed at the start and finish lines of each stage and CANNOT BE MAILED.  Credentials can be picked up at the start line in the media tent near the announcer’s booth or at the finish line in the press room.  Press room locations will be posted on the Amgen Tour of California Web site in February.
• All electronic footage is to be used exclusively as news coverage.  Electronic footage gathered to be used commercially must be sub-licensed through the race’s organizers, AEG.  Any electronic footage used in a commercial way without prior approval will be subject to penalties, enforced through legal or arbitration means.
