Rock the Bike featuring the Gin Blossoms

The worlds of cycling and music collide at the free “Rock the Bike” Saturday night street party immediately following the Stage 6 finish of the Amgen Tour of California. Rock the Bike presented by the City of Santa Clarita, Westfield Valencia Town Center, will feature top cycling manufacturers showcasing the latest cycling innovations. Combined with great live music including a concert by the world famous Gin Blossoms, Rock the Bike is an event you won’t want to miss!

Health Net Family Ride

Families can literally get into the action with the Family Ride! This exciting, non-competitive family bike ride begins at City Hall and continues along the City’s off-street trail system.

Families can choose to ride a 3-mile beginner route, 5-mile intermediate route, or traverse the 7-mile advanced route, but no matter which you choose, all routes will finish at the Finish Line for the Amgen Tour of California on McBean Parkway!

All participating family members will receive an event numbered bib, commemorative T-shirt, finisher medal, and a raffle ticket. Parking and the Start Line are at Santa Clarita City Hall, 23920 Valencia Boulevard. Along the course, local bike shops will provide “fix-it” stations where riders can address equipment issues. Finish line photos will be available for purchase online.

Kids Zone - Sponsored by Providence Holy Cross

Bring the family to the Kids Zone. Enjoy the inflatable obstacle course, large slide and rock climbing mountain. Team up with a friend to race around Santa Clarita’s version of the Amgen Tour of California on a tricycle. All proceeds benefit the Healthy Santa Clarita Program.
