CITY AND RED CROSS TO HOST COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVES ON OCTOBER 25
The City of Santa Clarita will host two community blood drives on Friday, October 25, 2019, to aid the American Red Cross in their goal of collecting 410,000 units of blood during the month
of October. The City invites residents to donate blood at City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard, or the Old Town Newhall Library, located at 24500 Main Street.
The blood drive at City Hall will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. When scheduling an appointment online, donors should use the sponsor code “CityOfSantaClarita.”
To donate blood at the Old Town Newhall Library, stop in between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The sponsor code to register online for this location is “NewhallLibrary.”
Every two seconds, somebody in the U.S. needs blood. The City of Santa Clarita has hosted eight blood drives so far this year and encourages residents to come together again to
support this cause that has the potential to save many lives.
