On-line registration for all Summer 2017 Programs begins Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 8:00 am.
Walk-in Registration begins Monday May 15, 2017 at 10:00 am.
Please note: The Universal Membership forms, Summer Program registration forms, and photo membership cards MUST be completed prior to the first day of the program. If forms are not completed by your child’s first day of the summer program you may experience an extended wait while your paperwork is being processed.
Please visit the Center in person with an ID during our regular business hours:

If membership is new, or if the renewal requires a replacement membership card, the child must be present to have their photo taken.
This program provides fun activities for youth ages 5-12, in an unstructured setting. It is offered Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Summer Kidz is FREE and available on a first come, first served basis. Register for one or more weeks. Summer Kidz may participate in fieldtrips. There is an additional cost for fieldtrips.
This program offers parents the option of dropping their children off for extended care starting at 8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday. Children must be enrolled in Summer Kidz to qualify. The cost is $10 per week. Register for one or more weeks.
This is a structured program for youth ages 5-12 featuring activities that include weekly arts and crafts, organized group games, and special presentations. The program runs Monday-Friday, from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The cost is $25 per week ($30 non-residents). Register for one or more weeks. There is an additional cost for fieldtrips.
Free program for teens ages 13-18. Daily activities such as sports, games, arts and crafts, special projects, teen nights, fieldtrips, and more! This summer, teens will take separate excursions which will include educational destinations as well as fun adventures. Please see registration page for additional information. There is an additional cost for fieldtrips.
Fieldtrips for Summer Kidz, Summer Blast and Full Day program Participants
Field trips may include the California Science Center and Imax movie, El Capitan Theater, L.A. Sparks game, Ice Skating, the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center, Medieval Times, and the Aquarium of the Pacific.* Children may participate in fieldtrips as long as they are pre-enrolled in either Summer Kidz, Summer Blast or the Full Day program for that week to participate. Universal membership form and Summer Registration Form must be on file. Neon Purple Summer 2017 field trip t-shirts will be available for sale at the Newhall Community Center front counter. These t-shirts are required for all children attending field trips this summer. No other color shirts may be used.

This year, the center will offer three separate camps for youth ages 5-12. Specialty Camps run Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
