The City of Santa Clarita has released the Community Services and Arts grants applications for the 2019 grant cycle.  These grants offer local nonprofit organizations the opportunity to support innovative and crucial programs and projects that serve residents.  Past funding has been awarded to support equipment upgrades, after school enrichment programs, facility renovation projects, community art projects, and performances at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons. 


2019 Grant Cycle


Wednesday, September 26, 2018  Information meeting for all interested nonprofit agencies. Grant Application Packet will be released at this meeting.

 Grant Workshop, City Hall - Century Room

Free workshop, no RSVP required.

 Wednesday, October 24, 2018  Community Services and Arts Grant Application Due.
 November, 2018  Staff distributes grant application to Grants Committee members.
 December, 2018  Grant Committee members submit rating sheets
 January, 2019  E-mail to Grant applicants informing of Grant Committee recommendations (pending City Council approval)
 January, 2019  City Council meeting - Approval of Grant Committee recommendations


2018 Final Report


Organizations are required to submit a Final Report within three months of implementing/completing the project, but no later than December 31, 2018.

The Community Services & Arts Grants - Free Grant Workshop for interested agencies will be held on:

This workshop will provide a thorough overview of the entire grant proposal development process.

 * Required attendance for NEW applicants and previous applicants that did not receive funding *

 The application package below include all the information needed to apply for the grant program, including information about available grant funding, categories for applications, timelines, insurance and budget requirements, and general criteria evaluated as part of the grant review process.
