Youth Aquatic Programs
Competitive Stroke Instruction
For ages 6 to 17, this workout-type class will help students stay in swimming shape as well as improving abilities in all strokes, starts, turns and finishes. Each 4-week program provides an ideal way to stay in shape. Participants should be comfortable in deep water and capable of swimming 25 yards comfortably in order to enroll in this class.For schedules, fees and more information, visit the Seasons page.
Synchronized Swim Team & Water Polo Team

This course teaches correct approaches and entries, as well as dives in the straight, pike, and tuck positions. Students need to be comfortable in deep water and have Level 3 completion skills, or higher, to enroll.For schedules, fees and more information, visit the Seasons page.
Santa Clarita Junior Guard (SCJG) - SUMMER ONLY
Enjoy a fun and exciting training program designed to teach water safety, CPR and basic first aid skills. Activities include swimming workouts, lifeguard shadowing, preventative lifeguarding and competition. Physical fitness and development are balanced with self-esteem and camaraderie. This program provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn the duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard.
The Summer Junior Lifeguard Program is offered for 4-1/2 hours per day, Monday through Thursday mornings for two, 4-week sessions at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.
