SPRING THEME: Trails and Open Spaces
What places will you explore in the City of Santa Clarita this spring? The theme of the City’s spring 2020 photo contest is Trails and Open Spaces! As you take a stroll or a hike through one of the City’s beautiful open spaces or trails, snap a picture of the scenery to submit in the photo contest. We can’t wait to see your outdoor adventures!
Remember all photos should be clear with good lighting! Also, screenshots will not be accepted.
The Santa Clarita Photo Contest is held to provide an opportunity for photographers of all skill levels to share their perspective of the Santa Clarita community and culture.

The top three photos chosen by a panel of judges will win cash prizes:
1st Place = $300
2nd Place = $150
3rd Place = $50
Contest closes December 31, 2019. Only one entry is allowed per photographer.
Only one entry per photographer will be accepted each quarter.

Photo eligibility is at the discretion of City staff. Contestants must be at least 18 years of age. Minors are welcome to have a parent or guardian enter photos on their behalf.
Winners will be required to provide a W-9 form to receive prize.
In submitting photo(s) (PHOTO) to the City of Santa Clarita (CITY) and participating in the City of Santa Clarita Photo Contest I (we), (CONTESTANT), hereby warrant and agree to the following:
warrants to CITY that he/she has lawful ownership rights to the PHOTO
and acknowledges that once submitted, the PHOTO becomes the property
of the CITY.
to 17 U.S.C. § 106A(3) and only to the extent that this Agreement
differs, CONTESTANT expressly waives any rights that the he/she may
have under Cal. Civ. Code § 987 or 17 U.S.C. §§ 101 et seq.,
including, without limitation, 17 U.S.C. §§ 106, 106A, and 113, or
any successor statute(s) or regulation(s).
